The Discoverer® SilicaControl Chamber is a retrofit dust control solution for automatic core saws that captures and extracts silica dust at the source, helping create a safer, cleaner cutting environment without changing your existing setup.  

Engineered to retrofit onto any brand of automatic core saw, including Corewise and Almonte, the system encloses the cutting zone to capture airborne dust at the source. An integrated outlet allows connection to a vacuum system, actively removing dust from the chamber before it can spread through the core shed.

The result is a cleaner, safer working environment for your team, without the need to replace or modify your existing saw.

Measurements required to custom make the SilicaControl Chamber:

We require three base measurements to start the process of custom making your chamber. Each brand and generation of Automatic Core Saw are set up differently, so if the below dimensions do not work with your saw, contact our team to walk through what is required to get the chamber fitted correctly.

The Discoverer® SilicaControl Chamber is part of a fully integrated solution designed to manage silica exposure throughout the entire core cutting process. The system doesn’t just reduce airborne dust, it controls silica from the moment of cutting through to final waste handling.

An enclosed cutting chamber contains airborne mist and dust at the source, while negative pressure extraction at the blade interface actively pulls contaminants away from the operator. These are filtered through an 'H-Class’ Wet-Dry Vac, capturing 99.995% of particles and preventing them from re-entering the workspace.

Beyond the cut, the system’s water processing capability separates and removes fine silica particles from slurry, eliminating the risk of re-drying and secondary dust exposure within the core shed. We will be sharing more on this side of SilicaControl very soon.

The result is a cleaner, safer, and more controlled cutting environment, without requiring a complete overhaul of your existing setup.
